Judgment (Part 39)
Paul's Advice
Be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

But avoid foolish disputes... and strivings about the Law; for they are unprofitable and useless.
Titus 3:1-9 (NKJV)
If we're commissioned to make disciples, then Paul is our media prototype. He headlined Christ's A.D. ad campaign. He was a Cross-cultural liaison who traveled to many foreign cities. He was a multi-level marketer, an unwavering communicator, and a steadfast ambassador for Christ - in speaking, writing and performances.

He said, 'I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some' (1 Corinthians 9:22).* Paul was an actor and model for Christ. Regarding the talents God entrusted to him, Paul multiplied them exponentially: a legacy that continues to grow.

Paul's advice to 1st century Christians, regarding how to become stars for God, is extraordinarily relevant to 21st-century believers. Although some of us think we're qualified to judge between sins and call out verdicts, these judgments are arrogant presumptions and not at all what Paul told us to do.

Actors, models and talent for Christ: As God's field workers in media, tend and serve His fruits of the Spirit.** They're Cross-culturally appealing and leave their partakers wanting more.

As His modern day fishers of men on the platforms of entertainment, your talent is the bright, shiny bait, your behavior is the golden hook, and Jesus is captaining the boat.
